Canoeing, Kayaking and Camping the Beautiful Suwannee River (Mon Oct 3, 2005)
This is the best website on the internet about canoeing or kayaking on the Suwannee River. The river is located in north Florida and stretches from the Okefenokee swamp in Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico. It provides a wealth of information on the river, talks about the effect of different water levels, has a series of interesting trip reports, GPS coordinates along the river, and more. There is also a page on building a Cedar Strip Canoe.

Semanchuk.com (Mon Oct 3, 2005)
Collection of well written trip reports about sea kayaking around the south east US. I think that my favorite story is the one named "Paddling The Saints". We camped on that same island last year and it brought back some good memories.
